I've been building things since 2010, when I walked into Romania's first Startup Weekend as a university student and walked out with a winning startup. That was the moment I realized I couldn't do anything else.

Since then I've co-founded several ventures. The one that changed everything was Froala — a WYSIWYG rich text editor that grew to 6,000+ customers across 110 countries, including Apple, IBM, Samsung and Amazon, before being acquired by Idera in 2018. I learned more in those five years than I could have in twenty working for someone else.

Today I'm building Segmio — an AI-native net worth tracking and financial projection app with scenario discovery. It started as a personal spreadsheet in 2018. It became a web app in 2020 and Segmio in 2022. Now it's in its third generation, a complete rebuild with AI at the core from day one. The goal has always been the same: give people real clarity over their financial future, not just a dashboard that tells them where their money went.

To bootstrap Segmio, my co-founder and I built FinancialAha — a suite of financial planning spreadsheet templates now used in 55+ countries. It funds the work and gives us direct insight into what people around the world actually need from a personal finance tool.

I write about startups, bootstrapping, and the honest reality of building products from scratch. Occasionally about travel — I've been to 51 countries across all 7 continents, including Antarctica, and it has shaped how I think about everything.
